bro-ification is a good way to describe it.

in the late 90s/early 00s DKM shows were mostly punk kids, mohawks, etc. Now there's a ton of frat boy types too.

I don't think it was the frat boys that knocked me off the bandwagon though. I think I just got tired of hearing drinking, family, union, blue collar in every song on every album. It was novel for a little bit and then it started to feel like they were just doing it because it worked.

Did DKM change or did we grow up?

I can say with absolute certainty that DKM has not changed.

    Source: their past 5 albums.

used to love Dropkick Murphys too. now I listen to them and it all sounds so corny and cliche and played out.

it doesn't help that they've been making the same record for 20 years, but still.

It's the same shit, different election cycle. If we survived W, we can survive this dumbass.

I hope so, but I've got a nagging suspicion that this is different. W was by no means a good president but at least he had some composure and diplomacy.

I went to one once, when I was about 7.

I really don't remember if it was good or not, but I'm not a huge fan of seafood so I'm not really inclined to go back.

glad I'm not the only one who thinks this season has been tedious and dull. Every episode since the premiere has just been a bore.

Rick gave in to Negan way too easily, this bullshit with the Hilltop doesn't make any sense, WTF is up with Carol and the LARPy tiger dude, Morgan is the worst character ever, etc.
