Fear the Walking Dead was a nice appetizer leading up to this. Though I feel like The Walking Dead was getting a little tiresome for me last season, I'm happy to have it back.
Didn't care for the artsy black and white thing, but I get what they were doing. The band-aids on Rick's face were enough for me to figure out which timeline they were tracking on.
What a way to leave episode 1, though. Glad that Negative Nancy dude's face got eaten off and it was another nice step toward the dark for Rick's humanity when he knifed him while he was still human, alive and awake. The trucker horn in the distance blasting off just when their painstakingly constructed house of cards had passed the hard part forced an out loud "oh, no!" from me. My initial reaction was it was the teenage son of the dude Rick killed last season, but that doesn't feel right to me. Any thoughts?
